Who are the Brothers of Christian Instruction?
The Brothers of Christian Instruction are religious men who endeavour to imitate Our Lord Jesus Christ more closely not only by doing what all good Christian must do, but also by following his special advice of the evangelical counsels to his friends.

APOSTOLATE
The Brothers of Christian Instruction are in the service of God’s people, especially the youth, with a preference for the poor, through Christian education and instruction. This is infidelity to the intentions of their Founder. The Congregation also has a missionary vocation bequeathed to it by the Founder. In response to the needs of local churches, it sends forth Brothers to spread the Gospel outside their native lands. Their own dedicated love of God invites the Brothers to establish a close personal relationship with Christ and prepares them to lead the men of their generation to Him.
